'Zidanes y Pavones', better known as 'Los Galacticos' was Florentino Perez' brain child where he wanted to create a star studded team (Zidane), while also supplementing it with academy graduates (Pavon).
David Beckham was clearly not an academy graduate from La Fabrica and was, in terms of market growth, the biggest success at Real Madrid during this period.
This shirt is from his first season at the club and is arguably the best shirt he wore there too.
