Ruud Van Nistelrooy long sleeve Real Madrid away 2007 football shirt match worn away against Real Murcia 24th November 2007.

Real Madrid drew the game 1-1 on the night with an early Robinho goal being cancelled out just after half time by the home side. Van Nistelrooy got a yellow card and no goals or assists.

It was the last 'big' season Van Nistelrooy. He scored 20 goals for Real Madrid in all competitions that season.

It is not clear what half this shirt was worn in but it was rare that he wore this away shirt in long sleeves.

There is clearly some damage to the La Liga patch, which was damaged during storage. The Formotion technology used in the creation of these shirts was quite nice and differs significantly to those that were available commercially.

Note: unlike replica shirts, matchworn shirt product codes normally don't show up on a Google search. This is usually a good sign, which is also the case here.

Provenance: Sourced shirt from a Spanish collector who has connections with a La Liga club kitman.

Care Instructions

Wash the shirt inside out, ideally on a cold handwash.

There is no guarantee that some print won't come off but this is best practice.
