On the back of winning three Champions Leagues in a row Zinedine Zidane decided to step aside from Real Madrid. The season started with the Spain boss, Julen Lopetegui who was sacked on the eve of that summers World Cup. It ended with Zidane back at the helm with a few months of Santiago Solari in between.

It was the first season without Cristiano Ronaldo and despite winning the Club World Cup in December, Los Merengues were unable to win any other silverwear. They even lost the European Super Cup to neighbours, Atletico Madrid.

This shirt was one Luka Modric wore as he won the Ballon D'or this year but this particular one has some wear to the elasticity on the cuff and collar unfortunately.
