Il Maglia Verde, the green shirt. This shirt was released by Puma as part of the iconic trio of shirts they designed for Italy, featuring a renaissance-inspired theme. The floral design runs through the base of the shirt and represents the renaissance of Italian football, highlighting the trust in the youth coming through the ranks. This was perfectly timed, as Italy went on to win the Euros in 2020, beating England in the final, which took place in 2021. Unfortunately, this jersey never got to see that tournament; they only wore it in one game against Greece, which secured their qualification for the Euros. The only other time Italy wore a green shirt was in 1954 when they played Argentina in a friendly.

This particular shirt is a kit room-issued version. It does not have the black Puma logo at the bottom of the front of the shirt and comes with a beautiful name set, featuring a cord-like outline around the number of Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli. I have to say, it's an absolute cracking shirt. The gold details pop against the beautiful dark green base, and that floral pattern running through it is simply a work of art.

The only thing to take away from this shirt is there is a small bit of colour bleeding into the crest, which is seen in the photos.
